GTA V Shenanigans - Airport Pursuit
I initially tried to stop this light blue Benefactor Panto back in La Mesa for running a red light, but the driver chose to flee. The pursuit continued into Los Santos International Airport and onto the runway, where we were finally able to stop the vehicle.

GTA V Shenanigans - Arresting A Cop
We were patrolling near Grapeseed when a Los Santos Police car passed us at nearly 100 MPH, and sped up to 115 afterward. We attempted to stop the car, which we could only assume was stolen, but the driver did not stop. We finally got the car to stop on a dirt road near Mirror Park, and arrested the LSPD officer who was driving. Unlike the real-life Miami officer who was stopped by FHP for driving 120 MPH, we did not let him go. Hopefully LSPD won't start a childish feud with SAHP.

GTA V Shenanigans: Code 3 Runs
In the first clip, we drove Code 3 through Sandy Shores in a LSPD Buffalo.
In the second clip, we were in Paleto Bay when we received an all-hands-on-deck call for a situation at the 24/7 store in Sandy Shores. It's not readily apparent from the video, but we topped 160 MPH during this run. We arrived on scene to find a large amount of emergency vehicles surrounding the store.

GTA V Shenanigans: Highway Ramp
In these three videos, we placed ramps in the middle of the freeways, and watched AI drivers react.

GTA V Shenanigans: Mountain Climbing
In this episode of Shenanigans, we climb a mountain in a very unusual way.
We've heard fast cars, particularly late-60s muscle cars, called "rocket ships" due to their massive amounts of horsepower and equally brutal torque figures. But those cars didn't actually have rocket boosters.
Rockstar Games took a look at the Coil Voltic, which is an all-electric car that's pretty fast in it's own right, and they asked "what can we do better?"
Enter the Rocket Voltic, which is quite literally a rocket car. With the touch of a button, it can accelerate from a dead stop to over 130 MPH in about 1.5 seconds on flat land.
Equipped with this new vehicle, we decided to climb up a mountain. We succeeded in climbing the mountain, but we were carrying enough speed that we actually jumped over the top. I think our car's personalized license plate ("BLASTOFF") was accurate.

In this episode of Shenanigans, we attempt to recreate the Trucks Hitting Bridges videos in GTA V.
I've long been a fan of the 11 Foot 8 bridge videos in real life. I was messing around in GTA V one day when I found a trailer that wouldn't fit under the train bridge above Joshua Rd between Sandy Shores and Harmony.
It was then that I decided to make a video about it.
Neither I, nor this video, are endorsed by or connected to the real 11 Foot 8 bridge in any way.

Prior to recording this episode, we installed a mod that turns the construction zone on Columbus Avenue into a finished roadway. We also drastically edited the handling file.
We then started GTA IV and proceeded to drive several vehicles at very high speeds, crashing them into buildings and other cars.

GTA IV Unique Stunt Jumps
In this video series, we complete all 50 Unique Stunt Jumps in the game, broken down by area.
This series was supposed to be one video, but due to technical limitations described in an earlier post, it had to be broken down into several short videos.
In those early days, my computer hardware was very underpowered, and I had to use the Rockstar Editor to record anything. To further complicate things, if I tried to export videos that were more than ~6 minutes in length, my computer would actually crash.
Also, my internet connection was very slow and very unreliable, and longer videos would often fail to upload due to the connection timing out before the video was completely uploaded.

Airport Hot-Laps
An early GTA IV racing short video, recorded in-game with the Rockstar Editor.

Playboy X Gets Arrested
Another early LCPDFR short.
In this video, we were running stationary radar on Plumber's Skyway in Alderney, when we observed a blue Cavalcade driving Southbound at 68 MPH in a 30 zone, more than double the posted speed limit (see author's note in previous post). The speeding SUV turned onto the exit ramp that we were sitting at, very nearly hitting us head-on.
We turned around and gave chase, all the way down the very long exit ramp, across to a very long entrance ramp, and back onto the freeway Northbound.
After a considerable distance, we eventually caught up with and performed a traffic stop on the Cavalcade. We made contact with the driver, identified as Playboy X, and learned that he had two warrants for his arrest.
Playboy was cooperative with us, and was taken into custody without further incident.
He was charged with speeding 68/30, reckless operation, and whatever the two warrants were for.

In this episode, we were running stationary radar on Broker-Dukes Expressway, when we observed a blue Contender traveling 58 MPH in a 30 zone.
(Author's note: I don't know why a freeway would have such a low speed limit, but the speed limit signs in the area read 30 MPH.)
We eventually caught up with the vehicle, and observed it crash into another vehicle that stopped for the traffic light. We performed a traffic stop and made contact with the driver, identified as Dimitri Rascalov.
Prior to arresting Dimitri, we performed a search of his person, and located a concealed handgun.
(Author's note: I'm a believer in 2nd Amendment rights, and am a Concealed Carry Permit holder. As I type this, I'm wearing a handgun on my person. However, with Liberty City being modeled after NYC, carrying a concealed weapon is illegal in-game. This is evidenced by some of the lines the cops say when finding a weapon on a person, and further evidenced by the lack of Ammu-Nation stores.)

I'm often asked why these early videos are so short in length, and the reason is twofold.
The first reason is that in these early days, I was using the Intel Integrated Graphics which uses a small amount of RAM and CPU power to act as a graphics card. This meant that I had to use the in-game Clip Capture and Rockstar Editor to create these videos. Due to the limited capacity of the graphics, exporting the videos from GTA IV took an extraordinarily long time, and long videos would actually crash the computer.

Another early "R* Editor" video, making use of the LCPD First Response (LCPD:FR) modification.
In this video, we were running stationary radar on Broker-Dukes Expressway near the airport, when we observed a black Banshee with one headlight, top the hill at a high rate of speed and lose control.
We performed a traffic stop on the vehicle at the corner of Broker-Dukes Expwy and Dukes Drive/Hewes St, and made contact with the driver, identified as Mikhail Faustin.
We arrested Faustin for speeding, reckless operation, and broken headlight.
